We are back ladies and gentleman as the All-Star break has come and gone, and what a better way to start off the week with a national double heads on TNT as the Lightning take on the Rangers in MSG. Then in the night cap the Wils head to Chi-Town to take on the Hawks, later in the week We will see the Bolts again on Thursday on ESPN then another double header on ABC on Saturday to close out the Super Bowl week in the league.

When writing this piece an checking out the lines the one line that stuck out was the O/U as it has gone under eight times in the last ten meetings, and once in the last nine meeting with the number being above 6 just once (6.5 in Dec of this year and went under in TB) with both teams likely to start their number one net minder taking the under of 6.5 at an amazing price of -115 is a no brainer. If you are looking for some stats to back that up. The bolts have gone under four of the last ten games, as their over streak currently sits at three in their last three games, meanwhile on Broadway the Rangers have gone 5-5 in the O/U department going under twice in the last five games. While those numbers don’t seem great in backing the under their stats say otherwise as the Rangers have given up 2.82 GPG white the Bolts have given up 3.28, making this a under 6 goal game with both star newminders.

When writing out the trends for tonight’s game I think this is the first time and I’m sure the last time we will see a team that is a perfect 10-0 against a team head to head. While there is no value in the Moneyline with the Wild being such a big road favorite i also see no value in backing the home dog. Same goes with the Spread as +115 is not enough for me to lay 1.5 goals. Leading us to another total for the nights. Alot of this will lean on the shoulders of the Wild as they are starting Gustavsson for the fifth time in six games. In the games he has started the over has hit three times as he has given up an average 3 goals in the overs, and 15 goals overall (3 GPG). This will likely be a pass unless a better line comes out on the puck line for either side.
