Game one our double header takes place in Surprise as the Panthers play host to the Bruins in a matchup between Atlantic division rivals. It was shocking to see the B’s as underdogs with how well they are playing over the course last year and this year so far. The line is set perfectly for an “upset” of sorts where I love the Bruins being the slight favorite giving the goal and half. We all know the man they call Bob can be hit or miss, let’s hope we get him on his miss night as the B’s run away with this one
The Plays: BOS -1.5, +210 / BOS ML – 115
VGK @ DAL
Two nights ago Dallas played their back up net minder against the Rangers and it paid dividends as they came out on top, and gave projected starter Jake Oettinger some more time off. It’s hard to ever bet against Vegas but they have struggled on the road winning just five of eight, compared to eight of ten at home, Dallas is the opposite winning five of eight at home, and seven of nine on the road. This game takes place in Dallas so something has to give and much as I want to back the defending champs their road woes worry me, but so does Dallas’s home record. The total is something to target as its at a even 6 and can be had at -115 for the under as the last 7 games have gone under with the total being 5.5 six of those seven games and with both teams on some rest expect both to be sharp and ready to go in a close Conferance matchup.
