Here we are a week and half into the season the Bedard craze is finally over for now. Tonight is the final night of Chicago’s first five games that the league made sure he was on display over the course of national TV. While the hype sure looks to be real, I for one am happy to see other teams on display over the course of the NHL Season. So without further delay let’s get on with the show!

Make sure you are following my X handle @Daily_Biscuit31 for any other NHL Plays outside the national games, goalie updates and more!

As mentioned above the Connor Bedard show makes its final stop in the Rocky Mountains. Chicago seems to be able to be holding its own early on starting off 2-2 with Wins over the Penguins (who people think are a playoff team) and the Maple Leafs (who people think could finally win or atleast make a run at the Stanley Cup). Tonight will be another test for them as they take on the champs from two years ago. As of this writing backup goaltender Arvid Soderblom is projected to start in his second game of the year and in the short season he actually has better numbers than Mrazek. On the other end of the ice Georgiev is off to a hot start with a 3-0-0-0 record, 1.5 GAA and a SV% over .950. Trends and early success on both ends seem to point in the direction of the Under and I agree as Chicago has proved they can hang and play with the big guns of the NHL. Also in a nice value play the +1.5 on the Hawks side at +124 holds amazing value as they are 2-2 on the year but this will be a rare time where getting the goals is at plus money. The Hawks might not win but they can keep the game close enough while keeping the score low.
