Well the Caps’ kept it close until an implosion in the third cost them the game. I guess we should stop running to that well and realize they just are not that good of a team when it comes to playing teams that are similar or better than them. Have no fear though we are running it back tonight to end the week with the Penguins taking on the Bruins in Boston on ESPN tonight!

The Plays:
The Penguins are playing some resurgence hockey as they are 4 games above .500 and in position to make the playoffs after missing it last season. On the flip side the Bruins are pushing the Rangers for the best record in the East, along with looking to repeat as President Trophy winners for the second year in a row. As we dissect tonight’s matchup nothing really sticks out beside the total, Boston is the better team and should easily win so at -145, they are not worth the juice, with that being said you would think the spread would be the play, but with books having this game at a rare 5.5 line, you would think the game would be a rather close game, unless some Jarry does not play for the Pens’ its worth jumping on it, where we target is the total as both teams average right around 2.6 goals against and just about 3 goals for. In the last five games for each team they have won by playing great defense and goaltending allowing 2 GAA. Lets ride the number and end the week on a high note!
