Overview

Bristol, 300 laps. Again it’s fast and is a short track. Dominator points will be key again pairing them with the cheap guys who can give you PD upside. I would run 2 dominators in your lineup to start with, maybe 3.

Dominators

1.Justin Allgaier $11600 (Starting 10th): Led over 100 laps in each of the last 2 races and led over 40 in 4 out of the last 5 races, no cup guys this race either. Going to be a chalk play but for good reason. (ALL)

2.Harrison Burton $9700 (Starting 1st): Yes he’s starting on the pole which is good to start off with, I think he leads for a bit, and then someone catches him on the longer run. He’s struggled a bit since coming back from the break, but like I said, he’ll have an agreement with his teammate to start the race so they both stay up front. (ALL)

3.Brandon Jones $9100 (Starting 2nd): He’s led laps here before, generally collects fastest laps too. Only issue I see is his teammate is starting on the pole, so I would expect some sort of agreement between them at the start of the race to get themselves into positions 1 and 2 to start. (GPP)

4.Chase Briscoe $12000 (Starting 11th): Him and Allgaier look like the two best drivers in this series now that the big 3 have moved up to cup. I’m not using him in cash simply because Allgaier has the better history here and is cheaper. Definitely in play for gpp’s for me though. (GPP)

5.Daniel Hemric $10000 (Starting 8th): I feel like Hemric will be kind of forgotten because of the 4 I mentioned above and that makes him a nice large field gpp play. I wouldn’t play him in SE or cash, but he’s led laps here before and he’s beginning to look much more comfortable back in an Xfinity car. (GPP)

Solid PD guys

1.Joe Graf Jr. $6900 (Starting 36th): This is a cash play, starting 36th if Joe can put together a race, he’s going to smash. Just play him in cash IMO. (Cash)

2.Jeremy Clements $8700 (Starting 29th): Top 15 in each of the last 3 races, hes a good cash play with gpp upside if he can replicate his performance from the fall Bristol race where he came 4th. You aren’t going to get fastest laps or led laps from him, so you’ll need other dominators in lu’s with him. (ALL)

3.Tommy Joe Martins $7300 (Starting 35th): I hope people see that he didn’t finish great last race and just assume he didn’t do well. He was running in the top 10 when he crashed and it ruined his race. He’s not going to get fastest laps or lead laps, but he’s a solid play who will probably garner ownership because of that low starting position. (ALL)

4.Timmy Hill $5500 (Starting 25th): If Timmy was starting in the 30s, he’d be a lock. He finished 7th and 17th last season in a similarly underfunded car, and I look for him to keep his momentum going from finishing 19th in the cup race yesterday in a car which is horrible. He could easily have a top 15 if things go his way, and I could definitely see using him as cash as your punt. (ALL)

5.Myatt Snider $7000 (Starting 22nd): He’s in the RCR’s 21 car again and for that reason alone he’s under priced. That car is way better than a 22nd place starting spot and I’d expect him to move into the top 15 or maybe the top 10. (ALL)

FADE: AJ Allmendinger $11,100 (Starting 27th): He doesn’t have a great history at Bristol and is more of a road racer anyways. For $11,100 you need laps led and I don’t think we see enough out of AJ to play him. Obviously he’s got the PD potential starting so far back, but again I don’t see him beating Chase or Allgaier in fantasy points barring a crash.

Other Value:

1.Justin Haley $6300 (Starting 4th): Haley’s price keeps decreasing, and he’s been okay here at Bristol. For 6300 all you need is a top 10 from him to hit value, and I can easily see that happening. I don’t think he’ll lead many laps if any, but mix in a few fastest laps with a top 10 and you’re golden. (GPP)

2.BJ Mcleod $5000 (Starting 24th): Really like BJ for GPP’s, but I’m not sure if I go here for cash. He has 3 top 20s in his last 5 races at Bristol and the 6 car he’s driving has easily been a top 20 car this season. A nice feel good story for him, and I like the play in gpp’s with him only being 5000. (GPP)

3.Matt Mills $6700 (Starting 31st): He’s sucked this season, but had decent finishes at Bristol last season. (18th and 21st) With haley and others around him, he’s going to be a low owned pivot, but I’d only use him in a 20 max, not SE. (GPP)

FADE: Steven Leicht $5700 (Starting 37th): I know he’s starting last, but the 66 car has only finished one race this season. I get he has a sponsor for the race but there’s other guys I’d rather play around him.

UPDATE: Fade Leicht and Green because they are starting and parking.
