Breakdown
With the big 3 now in the Cup series (Bell, Reddick, Custer) it gives other people a chance to shine. Kyle Busch is in this race and quite frankly, I will have him in between 75 and 80% of my lines to ensure I’m above the field on him. In the last 20 races at Charlotte in Xfinity, no one starting outside the top 10 has won. Can Kyle Busch change this? Most likely. In these other races the best cars generally started within the top 10 because they had qualifying or if it was rained out they had the owners points to start near the front anyways. Kyle is by far the best driver in this field, and unless he has a DNF, or a freak issue, he’s gonna be in the top 5 and leading the race. I expect atleast 60 led laps and 40 fastest laps, and combined with him starting 18th, that’s just an extra bonus.
To get Kyle and still be unique in gpp’s, you’ve gotta get different than just stuffing all the value in and having identical lineups to 20+ people. In cash I’m fine with eating the chalky guys who I will list below. Having a second dominator with Kyle may be a way to get different. Obviously, some guys you just cant fit with him because Draftkings actually tried with the pricing this week. Cash this week is choosing between a bunch of mid range PD guys. I think there will be less dupes this week because A) kyle is 17k and b) the rest of the field saw a bit of a price increase. You have to make a choice between Clements/Hill/Moffit in cash this week, and I’ve ranked them below the way I ended up building my cash line. All 3 are perfectly fine for cash, it just depends on who you want at the bottom in cash. If you’re not starting with Kyle, I’d start with Allgaier and move on from there. If you can make Allgaier and Busch fit in gpp that may get you a bit different than the field and allow you to have more of a shot at a non duped Busch lineup. I am listing Dillon Bassett simply because he’s one of the cheapest drivers in the field and the #90 car has looked good this season. I would expect him to gain some traction as the day goes on to help get some extra more expensive guys with Kyle.
