The highlight of last night occurred at Fenway Park. Chris Sale was the most hyped up pitcher in Boston since Pedro arrived, and man did he deliver. He didn’t pick up the win as they went into extra’s but it was an impressive start. We have 13 games on tap for Thursday, April 5th. Teams are wrapping up their series, as they head into the weekend. Look for my blog tomorrow as it will be Free Line Up Friday and I will give you my actually DFS Lineup I’ll be submitting.
Low Scoring Games
San Diego Padres @ Los Angeles Dodgers – The Dodgers were shutout on Tuesday which was surprising. Jerad Weaver takes the mound for the Padres tonight. The Dodgers have hit .266 against Weaver throughout his career. Chase Utley has the highest batting average of them all at .400. On the other side the Padres have only hit .262 as a team against Brandon McCarthy. Both pitchers are cheap and could be solid second options in your lineup. I would side more with McCarthy, as I like the Dodgers to win the final game of the series.
Targets: Utley, McCarthy
Atlanta Braves @ New York Mets – I have put this matchup and every blog this week as a low scoring game. That is because the Mets rotation is absolutely ridiculous – Matt Harvey is the 3rd starter, where he could be a number one almost anywhere else. Harvey has mowed down the Braves, as they only hit .213 as a team against him. I think Harvey has something to prove this year and is my favorite to be comeback player of the year.
Targets: Harvey, Cespedes, Reyes
