It’s travel day across MLB, so we don’t have a full slate, but we’ll take any baseball we can get. Looking back to yesterday, New York is heating up. The Yankees have been sticking it to the Rays all week, and Cespedes has put the Mets on his back and ran through the Phillies. Last night the Orioles sent bombs all over Fenway. Steven Wright does not look like the All-star starter he was last year. As of right now, it looks like he will lose his job when Price gets back.
Remember, tomorrow is Free Lineup Friday, so look for my lineup in tomorrow’s blog.
Low-Scoring Plays
Texas Rangers @ Los Angeles Angels – Darvish takes the mound for the Rangers against Nolasco. Darvish is one of the best arms in the league. Nolasco has had success against the Rangers, as they only bat .262 off of him, but Carlos Gomez has had success against Nolasco, batting .444 off of him. I don’t like any Angels in this game, so maybe go with some Rangers if looking for hitters.
Targets: Darvish, Gomez, Lucroy
