Yesterday the Nationals picked up their 6th win in a row as they beat the Mets. Bryce Harper is having an unreal season, proving he deserves the biggest contract in MLB history this offseason. The O’s beat the Red Sox, taking Wright out of the game by the 3rd inning. The back end of Boston’s rotation is sketchy, and they better pray for David Price to get back soon. Aaron Judge destroyed a ball 457 feet to help lead the Yankees big over the Pirates. The Yankee prospects are legit, and the league should watch out. Series are wrapping up today and we have a ton of afternoon games. Make sure you get your lineups in early if you want players in those games
Low-Scoring Plays
Washington Nationals @ New York Mets – Scherzer vs. Wheeler should be the pitching matchup of the day. Without Cespedes I don’t fear the Mets lineup at all. Reyes and Granderson – who should be the spark plugs getting on base – are both batting under .200. Duda is striking out a ton – he’s now on the DL – and Bruce is a streaky hitter. The Nationals should win their 7th in a row as Harper leads the league in batting average. Usually I build my teams around two pitchers I like and cut cost on position players if needed. I might just start building my team around Harper, he’s that good.
Targets: Scherzer. Harper
