In our prior article — Game-by-Game Analysis — the two authors actually differed a little more than usual. That’s not common, but it is probably also a function of combing through a large slate. When it came to trimming down the list of games to target, however, we are in agreement much more than the initial reads suggested. That’s always a better outcome.
A Note from Mario: We got back on the winning track with a nice 2-1 week thanks to the Lions/Eagles and Bears. I will continue to provide them as I see fit, but please do your research and play responsibly.
In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 9, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

Las Vegas Raiders at New York Giants
The Las Vegas Raiders have been surrounded by enough drama this season to make people lose sight of the fact that they are sitting at 5-2 and in first place in the AFC West. In each of their five wins, they have totaled over 400 yards of offense, which has helped them rank 5th in the league in net yards per pass attempt. The Raiders will be without Henry Ruggs moving forward, and that is a loss that goes beyond what can be seen on the field. An event like that takes a toll on a team emotionally as well, but the Raiders have already proven they can handle the emotional toll of a major scandal or loss in their last game against the Eagles. Now they will take aim against a Giants team whose defense ranks 23rd in the league in total yards and points allowed. Between the numbers and the gut feeling around this Raiders team, I love the idea of them coming out and making yet another statement this week. The Giants offense has been all over the map this season. Between endless injuries and inconsistent play all around, it has been hard to generate reasonable expectations on a weekly basis. My love for this game isn’t so much that I think the Giants play great, but that the game flow and the lack of available players should force many targets to a select few players. With the Giants likely to be playing from behind, Daniel Jones is going to be throwing a ton of passes in the direction of Kadarius Toney, Kenny Golladay — if active — and Devontae Booker making them all viable targets this week.
