We are certainly starting to notice the numbers level off now that we are four games into the season, and it means that we can’t always find the same value for both picks and DFS purposes. Thankfully, the slate is still large enough where we were able to identify both. Just in six different matchups.
A Note from Mario: We finally put together our best week with a 3-1 record. Let’s look to carry the success forward to this week. I will continue to provide them as I see fit, but please do your research and play responsibly.
In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 5, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

Green Bay Packers at Cincinnati Bengals
As fans of the NFL, it is often very easy to develop biases that can lead to us making poor decisions. One of those biases can be telling ourselves that certain players or offenses, in general, are actually better than they are — and I think that firmly applies to both of these teams. Don’t get me wrong, both offenses do have some high-end talent on them, but the real production has been underwhelming this season. The Packers’ offense has rebounded since a terrible Week 1 showing, but they rank 25th in the league in yards, 19th in net yards per pass attempt, and 28th in yards per rush attempt. Even if you exclude the first game of the season, the largest yardage output they have had in a single game is only 367. That is hardly good enough for an offense like the Packers. The Bengals have found some pretty nice efficiency throwing the ball, but it is not leading to much. They rank 22nd in the league in yards and 20th in points. Their stats are also bumped up by their one big game against the Jaguars — if you look at their two games against good defenses, they have failed to break 300 yards of offense in either. The icing on the cake for me for this game is that both of these teams actually have had better defenses than offenses this season which is not something most people would think. The Packers defense ranks 6th in the league in total yards allowed and ranks 10th in net yards allowed per pass attempt. The Bengals’ defense ranks in the top-eight in the league in points allowed, yards allowed, net yards per pass attempt, and yards per rush attempt. Of course, there is enough talent that a splash play may happen, or an individual may have a solid game, but this is hardly the offensive showdown that people may be leading themselves to believe.
Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings
After three straight games of producing over 400 yards of offense, the Vikings ran into one of the best defenses in the league and were completely shut down. If we have learned anything,Please register or login to read the rest of the article.
