With such a large slate of games, it was never going to be a problem to find a handful that we wanted to mention in this column. Keep in mind that, because of how many games are on the schedule, it would be wise to still comb through all and make sure that nothing is missed. Certainly, other DFS players will be looking for the same edge. With that, we still found some matchups that needed to be mentioned for Sunday.

A Note from Mario: Another 3-0 week! The latter half of this season has given us some nice value with over-under plays. I will continue to provide them as I see fit, but please do your research and play responsibly.

In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 17, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

New York Giants at Chicago Bears

Football can be a complicated game at times, and sometimes that forces us to overthink fantasy lineups. That isn’t the case for me with this game. The Giants season has felt like a lost cause right from the jump, and really never showed any signs of hope. Their offense currently sits at 30th in the league in total yards and points, and they have only scored 14 or more points one time in their past six games. To hammer this point home further, the Giants have not reached 30 points in a single game all season long, and have only reached 20 points in six games. The Bears numbers are better, but not by much. The Bears rank 26th in total yards and 28th in points scored. Through 15 games, the Bears have just one game in which they scored 30 points and that game included two long touchdown passes on broken plays and a punt return touchdown. These offenses have shown absolutely no reason to believe they have an explosive game in them, and a game in which they face each other is wildly unlikely to break that trend. It is not impossible that a player from this game plays well, but this is the last game that should be targeted heavily or built around.
