While we are certainly paying attention to the constant flow of COVID-related news that continues to shuffle rosters, this particular column is not as susceptible to late changes. We are looking at games as a whole and, with thirteen still be played this week, we had a relatively easy time landing on a handful worth targeting.
A Note from Mario: We followed our perfect week with a 1-3 dud, although the final numbers were quite close to the over-under marks — if anything, this is an indication that those who make the odds are honing in on the actual outcomes quite well. I will continue to provide them as I see fit, but please do your research and play responsibly.
In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 16, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

Los Angeles Ram at Minnesota Vikings
The Los Angeles Rams are currently riding a three-game win streak, and with the Cardinals in the midst of a three-game losing streak, the Rams stand a chance to claim a strong lead in the division as we approach the end of the year. With how they have been playing of late, I don’t expect them to slow down now with this opportunity in front of them. It is also helping my belief that the Rams offense — which ranks 6th in total yards and 5th in total points — is taking on a Vikings defense that has struggled all season. The Vikings defense currently ranks 30th in yards allowed, 23rd in points allowed, 23rd in net yards allowed per pass attempt and 29th in yards allowed per rush attempt. Those stats work together to paint a picture of a defense that can’t slow down anybody. I fully expect the Rams to assert their dominance on offense which sets up at least half of this game for fantasy glory. My reasoning for liking this game so much is that the Vikings also never allow themselves to be out of a game. Through 14 games this season, the Vikings have played 13 games that have finished with one-possession scoring differentials. Simply put, no matter who they are playing, the Vikings make the game interesting, for better or for worse. The Rams defense has been playing very well lately, but you can count on the Vikings to do the unexpected seemingly every week, which means them being successful on offense and playing a tight game with these Rams feels very possible. The Vikings provide the added value of relying very heavily on a few players, so there is not much thinking to do when it comes to adding Vikings players to your player pool.
