It always feels good to put together this article and not have to search especially hard for our favorite games. That’s even more valuable in a week where the options are limited because eight combined teams either already played on Thursday or are on a bye week.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
An AFC North battle always feels like a good time to target a low-scoring game. That may feel wrong to some people after the two teams combined for 69 points in their previous games. The Bengals are fresh off a 32-13 drubbing of the Raiders while the Steelers are coming off an admirable 41-37 loss against the Chargers that involved a major comeback effort late in the game. That Steelers performance was impressive offensively, but that was the first time all season that they scored more than 30 points. It was only the third time all season that the Steelers scored more than 23 points. My point is that the Steelers offense is far from explosive and is highly unlikely to replicate that performance. That becomes even more true against a top-ten scoring defense in the Bengals. The Bengals offense has a far better chance to remain explosive given their dynamic playmakers, but the Steelers have a tendency to show up defensively when it matters most. A critical Week 12 matchup against a division rival with all 4 division teams still entirely in the mix for first place in the division.
