We have to start paying attention to the overall trends of the league in 2020. Games have generally been on the higher-scoring side of the scale, and it’s not likely to continue with ease. Will we find value targeting offenses? Of course. But, as always, the goal is to approach each game with caution.
A Note from Mario: These picks went 2-1 last week with the shockingly successful combination of a team’s “over” and a game’s “under” in the same matchup — Houston and Jacksonville. I will continue to provide these picks as I see fit, but please do your research and play responsibly.
In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 6, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts
There are numerous games on this week’s slate that look like absolute fantasy landmines. For me, this one stands out above the rest as the one to avoid heavy exposure. The Colts’ defense has been downright dominant throughout this season — they rank second in net yards per pass attempt and fourth in rushing yards per attempt on the season. You could make the argument that they have not faced many great offenses to start the season, but the Bengals aren’t exactly a step up from their prior competition. The Bengals’ offense ranks 26th in total yards and 29th in points for, so there is no reason to think the Colts cannot shut them down like they’ve done to most of their opponents this season. While the Colts’ offense seemingly has a good matchup to exploit, they haven’t exactly looked great so far. Philip Rivers has struggled, and the run game is averaging the second fewest yards per attempt in the entire league. There simply is not a ton to like here.
