One-quarter into the season, and we have our first week in which we find ourselves liking lower-scoring matchups more than high-scoring ones. At least, in a few spots. There are still some offenses ready to explode, and we both made sure to list a pair of teams in this week’s column.

A Note from Mario: 4-0! Last week saw our first perfect set of these picks. I wouldn’t go too crazy with it, but it was nice to have a sweep. As always, I’ll list my personal favorite picks, but please do your research, and play responsibly.

In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. Arizona Cardinals at Cincinnati Bengals
We always talk about the likelihood for people to overreact and fall into a recency bias, and the Bengals will be the perfect example. After showing the world a terrible performance on national television, everyone is down on this Bengals offense. People will choose to ignore their long history of under-performing in the spotlight, the tough matchup they had, the much better matchup they have this week, and the fact that Andy Dalton was one of the league leaders in passing yards through the first three weeks of the season. We will not. This is an absolutely perfect bounceback spot worth attacking. The Cardinals have struggled for much of this season, yet Kyler Murray has been fantasy-relevant every week, and coming off a game with no touchdowns, he’s likely to turn that around against this weak Bengals defense. Both teams are in a great spot to produce offense, and thanks to a number of injuries on both sides, there is a limited number of targets for both teams which should make it pretty easy to build a effective game stack here.
Atlanta Falcons at Houston Texans
My interest in this game is pretty simple to explain:
