Although there are more-than-enough games to consider for our list of matchups to target, the list that we actually want to attack is relatively small. This is because, at this point of the season, most of the numbers align between our expectations and those of the football-watching world. Still, we can find advantages if we shorten our list.

Indianapolis Colts at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
In a week where I’m going against some of the season long-trends I’ve been following, it seems fitting to jump off of the Tampa Bay bandwagon. Almost every single game they have played in this season has been high-scoring, because their defense cannot stop anyone through the air, and their offense attacks with complete and utter disregard. The matchup with Indianapolis though is the perfect offset as they are essentially the polar opposite team. The Colts, especially now with Marlon Mack returning, will rely heavily on their run game, even if the matchup doesn’t favor it. They have confidence in their offensive line and their running backs to keep possession and churn the clock in any matchup. Assuming they don’t deviate from that strategy, that significantly limited the upside that the Buccaneers offense has because it will ensure they have few positions and less time to make plays. There is enough talent in this game that someone could still have a big day, but overall, Colts games are not worth stacking as they are sure to play at a pace that simply goes against everything we want in a fantasy situation.
