A Note from Mario: Last week’s picks were completely terrible – 1-5 in over-under picks – so let’s move along to Week 13. As always, I’ll list my personal favorite picks, but please do your research, and play responsibly.

In this column of games to target in Week 13, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
There are a few trends that I constantly look at when trying to find a good game to target, and they revolve around good offenses coming off of a bad performance. Combine the fact that both of these offenses are coming off bad performances, and the fact an Andy Reid offense is coming off a bye week, and we have a recipe for a high-scoring explosion. The Raiders are fresh off a three-point game against the Jets, and given that they are battling for their playoff lives, I can’t imagine another poor showing against another bad defense. The Chiefs coming off of a bye week would always be appealing, but given that their last game featured only 182 passing yards for Patrick Mahomes, I don’t see how this Raiders defense stands a chance this week. This matchup is a perfect alignment of almost every possible circumstance I could look for, and I will be heavily involved with players from this game.
