As we’ve said in previous weeks, we try to not completely overlap our picks, if we can help it. This time, it was never an issue. Of the thirteen games left on the schedule – after Thursday Night Football – we are targeting seven for various reasons.
A Note from Mario: Despite the main set of against-the-spread picks doing well, last week a dud for the over-under picks – they finished 2-4. I like another four games, this week. As always, I’ll list my personal favorite picks, but please do your research, and play responsibly.
In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 12, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

Oakland Raiders at New York Jets
As we get to this time of the season, motivation starts to become an interesting thinking point when talking about certain teams and certain games. You could easily look at the Jets and assume they have nothing to play for, but that doesn’t seem to be true. The Jets were never a team that was planning on tanking this year. It may have been premature to say they were playoff contenders, but they never had plans of being near the bottom of the league this late in the year. After two straight weeks of scoring 34 points in rare victories, they have showed that they do have the talent there to make plays, and also that they are looking to prove they are better than their record indicates. A matchup with the Raiders is a perfect set up for them because of their struggles against the pass, and the fact that the Raiders are in the midst of a playoff hunt. The Raiders will be all-in on this game, and will have to overcome their poor defense which sets up for a back-and-forth type of game. That set up, coupled with two teams that have struggled at stopping opposing quarterbacks, provides a good opportunity for a game stacking involving either quarterback and any top pass catchers for either team.
