Based on our expected Week 8 DFS game flow analysis and Week 8 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.
Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 8 Plays:
Quarterback
Trevor Lawrence – The Jacksonville Jaguars have had their season on the metaphorical ropes for weeks and, quite frankly, it might be too late to salvage it. But, even if the year ends up being a lost one, the Jaguars’ organization cannot allow the same fate to strike quarterback Trevor Lawrence. He has been a relative disappointment seven games into the year, but he has thrown seven touchdown passes over the last four games. He’ll face a Packers team that is the best in the league in creating turnovers, but Lawrence’s value on Sunday rests in his volume. He is going to need to throw to win, and we will buy into the upside that provides.
Josh Allen – Josh Allen always carries a high salary, but we are expecting a big enough game from the Buffalo Bills’ quarterback on Sunday to justify it. He has thrown nine touchdown passes over his last five games against NFC opponents and has another six rushing touchdowns in that same span. The Seahawks rank below average in most of their defensive categories, and Allen is poised to take advantage yet again.
