Based on our expected Week 7 DFS game flow analysis and Week 7 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 7 Plays:

Quarterback

Geno Smith – The Seattle Seahawks have now lost three consecutive games, but quarterback Geno Smith has not necessarily fallen off statistically. In fact, he has scored between 17 and 26 DraftKings points in five-of-his-six games this year — and he has thrown a touchdown pass in all six contests. He has as stable a floor as anyone in his salary range, but his ceiling gets a little higher on Sunday. It’s the classic case of Game Flow working in his favor where, if his team is trailing in Atlanta, then he’ll have to throw more and accumulate bigger numbers. If not, then Smith probably performed well enough throughout the matchup to deliver for our fantasy teams.

Sam Darnold – We’ve been thrilled to write about Sam Darnold a few times this year, but we do need to recognize that he is coming off his worst game as a member of the Minnesota Vikings — no touchdown passes and and an interception thrown. The key, however, is the rebound from that performance to move back to his season averages. He had thrown multiple touchdown passes in every game until Week 5, and he still only has four interceptions on the season. With a full week to prepare, we are expecting the Vikings’ offense to be ready for a potentially explosive battle with Lions on Sunday. Darnold would clearly benefit from such a setup.
