Based on our expected Week 6 DFS game flow analysis and Week 6 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.
Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 6 Plays:
Quarterback
Dak Prescott – To this point in the young season, Dak Prescott has delivered two solid fantasy games — one excellent one — and three relative duds. He is somewhat of a low-floor, high-ceiling player based on game flow and matchups, but both of those work in his favor on Sunday. The Lions are worse against the pass than the run, but part of that is because they have faced the third-most pass attempts with many teams trying to throw to keep pace with them. That’s exactly what might happen with the Dallas Cowboys where, even if they take the lead, it’s probably because the quarterback performed well.
Spencer Rattler – There’s almost no way to avoid a quarterback with the minimum salary on a given slate when we truly have no idea what to expect. Spencer Rattler will start under center for the New Orleans Saints on Sunday and, even if he fails to perform anywhere near the level we saw from starting quarterback Derek Carr, he is such a low-risk play that we will gladly slide him into our lineups and look for a potentially big reward. Perhaps more importantly, there are a few big name players on the slate that carry high salaries, and using Rattler to start your lineup allows for targeting other stars elsewhere.
