Based on our expected Week 4 DFS game flow analysis and Week 4 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.
Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 4 Plays:
Quarterback
Jalen Hurts – The Philadelphia Eagles have certainly not played a perfect brand of football, but they are 2-1 and currently favored in their last game before a Week 4 bye. You would never know it if you simple listened to the talk around the team. Almost everything is negative, and the roster is riddled with injuries. That’s the perfect time to take a chance with quarterback Jalen Hurts. His DraftKings salary is actually the highest of any quarterback on Sunday which, coupled with the aforementioned injuries and negativity, means he should be overlooked. We’ll take the chance that he performs aligned with his current average of 20.1 DraftKings points-per-game.
Aaron Rodgers – Don’t look now, but Aaron Rodgers has five touchdown passes and one interception on the season — which was also a deflected pass. More importantly, he has improved in every game this season — scoring more fantasy points consecutively — and now has the chance to move the New York Jets to 3-1. The real storyline here is that Rodgers has had a personal battle with the Broncos’ organization and some comments they made about Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. If Rodgers has the opportunity to make a statement with his team’s offensive scoring potential, he’ll take it.
