Based on our expected Week 3 DFS game flow analysis and Week 3 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.
Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 3 Plays:
Quarterback
Sam Darnold – It truly warms our heart to have Sam Darnold listed as a quarterback worth targeting in this column, but the reality is that he is still undervalued among football fans. Indeed, people are impressed with how he has played, but they are also questioning when the inevitable falloff will take place. What if it doesn’t? What if Darnold is finally healthy and in a system that allows him to thrive? More importantly, even if the doubters are correct, we can still get as much value out of him as possible while he targets a superstar wide receiver in Justin Jefferson.
Dak Prescott – It’s no surprise that, where the Dallas Cowboys go, so does quarterback Dak Prescott. The Cowboys won on Opening Day, and Prescott was lauded for his stellar play. Dallas loses to the Saints, and Prescott is no longer worth his newly-signed contract extension. Such is the way it tends to be for this specific position on this specific team. But the good news is that we are likely to see people hesitate when it comes to putting Prescott back into a fantasy lineup, especially in a perceived difficult game against the Ravens. We’ll take the chance and ask Prescott to rebound from last week, where he still threw for nearly 300 yards in a loss.
