We always point out when a specific type of build takes over, and this week has clearly led us to a ‘stars and scrubs’ approach. That will probably be somewhat common, but the way to differential is to pivot away from some of the big names and pay the premium on other ‘stars.’ That’s a large portion of what we did here.
Based on our expected Week 9 DFS game flow analysis and Week 9 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Quarterback
Dak Prescott – Dak Prescott has been all over the place in terms of fantasy production, but he usually carries a high ceiling — the only risk is with how shaky his floor can be. In a divisional battle against the Philadelphia Eagles, Prescott will almost certainly need to step up and carry his team, even if the running game provides assistance. His salary is fair considering his aforementioned roller coaster numbers, but he takes aim at a defense that is far better against the run than the pass.
