We keep writing about it, but each week has presented a new opportunity to direct salary in one place or another. For this set of games, there is so much value at the running back position that we can essentially overpay elsewhere. So we will.

Based on our expected Week 14 DFS game flow analysis and Week 14 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Quarterback

Josh Allen – With such a large slate of games ahead of us, it wasn’t necessary to pay top-dollar for a quarterback. That’s why we’re going to do it. Josh Allen has the highest salary of any passer on the main slate, and there is a chance that this deters some fantasy managers from rolling with him. Instead, we want to lean into the importance of this matchup for the Buffalo Bills — who sit at at a disappointing 6-6 — and ask them to keep delivering through the air. The Bills are third in the league in passing touchdowns, and they will almost certainly need to throw to keep pace with the Kansas City Chiefs. That leads to an incredibly high ceiling for Allen.
