For the past few weeks, we have written about going with a ‘stars-and-scrubs’ approach to our DFS lineups because they came about organically. This week, that isn’t the case. Without intending to lean in one direction or another, the number of viable options at reasonable prices — but not bargain-bin targets —  has produced a more balanced build than we have had recently.

Based on our expected Week 11 DFS game flow analysis and Week 11 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 11 Plays:

Quarterback

Justin Fields – There’s nothing too surprising about suggesting Justin Fields as a fantasy football quarterback. His season has been inconsistent, but his ability to run the ball helps raise both his floor and ceiling. His salary is on the higher side, but the potential he brings in a game against a division opponent where he might need to score plenty just to keep pace is too important to ignore given the other quarterback options for Sunday.

Will Levis – The stock of rookie quarterback Will Levis has fallen sharply after a hot start, but that’s exactly why we are considering him for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Levis failed to find the endzone in each of his last two games, but he’s also only thrown two interceptions in that span — one in each. His numbers aren’t good, but it does look like he’s in the perfect middle-ground where he is ready to positively correct after a negative regression. The matchup is actually quite good for it since Jacksonville is allowing the third-most passing yards-per-game in the league.
