There are a number of reasons behind this, but it feels like a ‘stars-and-scrubs’ approach to building lineups has been the most prevalent lately. That won’t change this week, and it might even be one of our more extreme sets of players.
Based on our expected Week 10 DFS game flow analysis and Week 10 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.
Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 10 Plays:
Quarterback
Kyler Murray – It’s obviously a big risk to use quarterback Kyler Murray in a fantasy lineup the first time he returns to game action in nearly a year due to injury, but risk-reward is a key factor in trying to win a DFS tournament. Murray is currently set to start on Sunday, and both his floor and ceiling are nonexistent. Anything could happen. But, it can happen at a salary price point that won’t destroy the rest of our lineup if he were put forth simply a modest effort. As long as we know what could happen — a restricted, poor performance to an eye-popping outing similarly to what he has done in the past — we can take the calculated risk.
