The final of our Week 11 articles gives us one more chance to capitalize on the mismatch between expectations for the football-watching world and our own where, once again, that disconnect is driven by mistaken perceptions. It’s possible that some salaries have captured the correct shift, but we know that others haven’t. That’s where we want to pounce.

Based on our expected Week 11 DFS game flow analysis and Week 11 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 11 Plays:

Quarterback

Josh Allen – After roughly two months of people trying to convince themselves that Josh Allen is the best quarterback in the league, the entire world seems to be down on Allen after a few weeks of struggles and persistent turnovers. While we understand that — and frankly never understood people saying he is better than Patrick Mahomes — it is downright silly to think he isn’t still a ‘must-play’ for fantasy football every single week. Even during this rough patch of play quality, Allen’s past three DraftKings outputs have been 25.6 points, 26.8 points, and 19.6 points. The 19.6 points against Green Bay was the only time all season that he failed to reach 20 points, and in every other game he has scored 24.5 points or more including five games over 30 points. He ability to get yards and touchdowns as a runner make him the most reliable fantasy target in the league. Playing against a Cleveland Browns team that allows the second most points per game in the league, Allen should have no trouble continuing his elite fantasy football performances. The snow in Buffalo has caused many issues, but playing in a dome in Detroit may be even better for Allen’s outlook this week despite the drama surrounding the game.

Joe Burrow – Not only are we regularly buying into the Pittsburgh Steelers and their defense, but we are even more apt to do so with the return of linebacker T.J. Watt. Still, this particular divisional matchup has enough history where we can expect the Cincinnati Bengals’ offense to find success after an impossibly bad Opening Day battle in which the Bengals committed five turnovers. The loss of wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase made life difficult for quarterback Joe Burrow a few weeks ago, but his most recent game showed that he is still capable of big fantasy performances at any given time. Burrow should be one of the least popular options on Sunday, yet his ceiling is as high as anyone’s.
