For the past few weeks, we have written about the salaries catching up to the players’ actual production. That was true, but it seems like there has been a new shift where many assets are still undervalued. We will be buying into them accordingly which, as always, helps us fill out the remainder of our rosters with higher-priced talent.
Based on our expected Week 10 DFS game flow analysis and Week 10 DFS Overview published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.
Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 10 Plays:
Quarterback
Russell Wilson – We just can’t quit Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson. Indeed, his team has been horrible and the offense has produced absolutely nothing, but an extra week of preparation to face a defense that has allowed the third-most passing-yards-per-game is too much to ignore. Wilson still has weapons and a fighting chance to work his team back into the playoff picture. We got a glimpse of what he and the Broncos’ offense could do prior to their bye with a late game-winning touchdown drive and, while the risk is high, history has shown us that the reward is there.
Kenny Pickett – Rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett has left plenty to be desired in his first few starts, but his DFS salary has reflected that properly. With a low bar to clear, isn’t it possible that Pickett — with at least 13 DraftKings points three time in five starts — that overperforms? His team is returning from a bye week, which should have allowed him to get a better grasp on the offense. If the Steelers come out and play well — which is completely plausible at home against a New Orleans Saints team with a 3-6 record — then Pickett likely puts together one of his better games.
