It looks like there will be no forgiveness with salaries, yet again, in Week 15. Despite the full slate and additional options, the amount of top-heavy prices will almost certainly force us into a ‘stars-and-scrubs’ approach when making our lineups.

Based on our expected Week 15 DFS game flow analysis and Week 15 Games to Target published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 15 Plays:

Quarterback

Kyler Murray – We’ve had no problem going to Kyler Murray when either the matchup was right or the game flow pointed to higher volume. On Sunday, it’s possible that neither are present. Then, why Murray in our list of targets? Because the Arizona Cardinals find volume for their quarterback, and they have made it a priority throughout his rookie season. Murray will throw and throw often. He can’t always overcome the truly tough matchups – last week, Pittsburgh was a good example of this – but higher volume has led to more success for the quarterback. And, of course, his running ability helps his both his ceiling and floor be high enough to justify his presence in a fantasy lineup.

David Blough – David Blough’s second start was much less of a success than his first one, and it likely showed his more realistic abilities. With that said, his setup this week, combined with his price, make him a worthwhile flier. As we have seen endlessly, the Buccaneers almost always play high-scoring games. That is due to both their aggressive offense and their terrible defense. There is a good chance the Buccaneers keep up this trend against a terrible Lions defense, so Blough will be forced into heavy volume. While that, alone, isn’t totally worth committing to him, the matchup against one of the worst pass defenses in the league makes him worth a shot.
