It is always inspiring when we have a large slate of games, but collectively narrow down our list of direct targets to a comparatively small number. This means that, despite the wide array of a selection possible, we were still able to hone in a general lineup that gives us the best potential.
Based on our expected Week 14 DFS game flow analysis performed earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Quarterback
Kirk Cousins – His matchup is far-from perfect – the Chargers have been brutal to opposing quarterbacks – but Kirk Cousins’ game flow and price are nearly ideal. He is one of the least expensive quarterbacks worth considering on Sunday, and he will be playing against a Chargers team that is surging and should score points in its own right. This forces Cousins and the Redskins to take to the air, giving the quarterback more than enough volume to allow him to outperform his price. In addition, his team is fighting for its playoff life, and it would be difficult to survive out west without a big game from Cousins.
Eli Manning – The inexplicable benching of Eli Manning came to a quick end, and the veteran quarterback will likely be playing with a little extra heart this week. For the first time in his career, Manning was being asked questions about whether or not he was done playing football. That type of talk is sure to get him fired up against the rival Cowboys. The game has no meaning for the team anymore, but Manning’s pride and potential future opportunities are on the line, so Manning will be on top of his game. The matchup is favorable as the Cowboys defense has struggled for the majority of the season; and he knows them incredibly well. I expect interim head coach, Steve Spagnuolo to lean heavily on his quarterback and let him carry the Giants to victory. Motivation and pride are two of the strongest weapons in sports and the Giants, and Manning in particular, should be full of both for this matchup.
