Week 12 presents some of the most one-sided matchups of the season. As football fans, this limits the potential for exciting action but, as fantasy owners, we couldn’t be happier. Running backs from the better teams should see heavy workloads, while the quarterbacks and wide receivers from the trailing squads will be the focal point in ‘garbage time.’

Based on our expected Week 12 DFS game flow analysis performed earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 12 Plays:

Quarterback

Jared Goff – With the breakout season he is having, Jared Goff might be highly-owned on Sunday. This should neither be a surprise nor deterrent. He is the quarterback of a top-five offense in both points and yards, and he faces a Saints defense that still appears to be overperforming and ready to regress. Most importantly, Goff just went against one of the most suffocating defenses in the league, and his team was promptly held to only seven points. Expect a rebound performance in Week 12. It starts with Goff.

Matt Moore – Jay Cutler continues to be handed the starting quarterback job in Miami despite horrific output, but he will be officially inactive on Sunday. Enter Matt Moore in the perfect combination of matchup and gameflow. He will face a Patriots defense that has allowed the most yards-per-game and most passing yards in the league. He will also be throwing all day as his team should be chasing the Patriots from behind basically as soon as the coin toss is finished. At his price, Matt Moore is a huge upside play on Sunday.
