As we wrote in the introduction for the game-by-game DFS analysis article, there will be plenty of options from which we can choose on Sunday. We will run out of salary space quickly, however, as the higher amount of potential players also means we will be spending above the average. This is one of the rare times where we will list multiple players from the same position in the same writeup and do so more than once.
Based on our expected Conference Championship DFS game flow analysis published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.
Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Conference Championship Round Plays:
Quarterback
Brock Purdy/Jared Goff – For all the positions and players we have grouped together in the past, this might be the first time we have ever done so with opposing quarterbacks in the same game. That should tell the whole story in itself. Do we necessarily think this game becomes a back-and-forth high-scoring affair? No. But it can. And, because of the two quarterbacks’ salaries compared to the other two on the schedule, we have a nice opportunity to take the value here and play for the upside. It would not be a surprise for either Brock Purdy or Jared Goff to finish as the highest-scoring quarterback of the weekend.
