As we will write in basically every column this week, we enter the second Sunday of the NFL season looking to take advantage of overreactions. The scheduling allows for this in a decent amount of games, although some head-to-head battles are better suited for actual football competition than DFS contests.
Sporfolio’s NFL Daily Fantasy Sports game-by-game analysis columns are driven by expected game flow. Based on a combination of our Week 2 NFL picks against the spread and our expectations for a given game, we project the actions necessary to make these picks come to fruition. We aim to pinpoint players integral to our predicted game flow for each game of the week. We also include high-scoring and low-scoring matchups that can be used for either DFS plays or over-under picks in our new Top Games to Target column.
Please Note: Our ‘Must-Owns’ are either players around which we are building our entire roster or the top target we want, not considering salary restraints. Which means that some ‘must-owns’ will not make it into our final lineups.

Cincinnati Bengals at Chicago Bears
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I try to keep the spreads somewhat separate from my DFS outlook, but sometimes a spread screams something, and that is the case for this game. After watching Week 1, you would be hard-pressed to find anyone who thought the Bears were a better football team than the Bengals. The Bengals impressed against a decent Vikings team while the Bears struggled mightily for most of their matchup against a very good Rams team. Seeing the Bears open as strong favorites, and remain favorites tells me the Bears likely win this game because, after all, the oddsmakers are smarter than the general public. I look for David Montgomery to continue his growth and lead the Bears to a solid win this week.
Targets: Joe Mixon, Tyler Boyd, Allen Robinson II, and Bears Defense
Fades: Joe Burrow and Andy Dalton
Must-Owns: David Montgomery
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The Cincinnati Bengals and Chicago Bears have such strong name value over the past few years that it’s difficult to separate biases. That’s exactly why we should. The Bengals are now considered an exciting offense worth targeting in DFS, but let’s not forget that they played four-and-a-half quarters in Week 1 and only came away with 366 total yards of offense — with 217 through the air. Conversely, Chicago’s defense is usually at the forefront of people’s minds, but the Bears were torched by the Rams’ aerial attack. The reality is that neither team has found its rhythm yet — the Bengals gave away their large lead and needed a Dalvin Cook fumble in overtime to seal their victory — but the playmakers are worth considering. David Montgomery is chief among them, although Cincinnati did bottle up Cook.
Targets: Joe Mixon, Allen Robinson II, and Bears defense
Fades: Both quarterbacks
Must-Owns: David Montgomery
Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: While it felt great to be so right on the Texans last week, I am jumping off this week in a big way. They took advantage of a team loaded with second-tier talent and an inexperienced coaching staff that is catching a lot of heat very early in the season. The Browns are no such team and showed they are for real last week as they controlled much of their game against the Chiefs in Kansas City. I fully expect the duo of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt to run all over the Texans’ defense and make the game very easy for the rest of their team.
Targets: Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt
Fades: Texans Offense and Baker Mayfield
Must-Owns: Browns Defense
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: As Luke wrote, we couldn’t be prouder about picking the Houston Texans to pull off the ‘upset’ last week, but I admittedly did not foresee any level of offense from the Texans — let alone the level that actually came to fruition. Now, the general, reasonable expectation is that the ‘fluke’ is over and Houston will get pummeled by the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Not so fast. Maybe Cleveland does march all over the Texans — it’s hard to argue against anyone on the Browns — but I wouldn’t be so quick to avoid Houston’s offense. They played on Opening Day with nothing to lose, and it’s likely we see the same pace against a heavily-favored Cleveland team.
Targets: Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, Jarvis Landry, Tyrod Taylor, Brandin Cooks, and Danny Amendola
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: None
Los Angeles Rams at Indianapolis Colts
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Well, my only fear in the world for this Rams team was Matthew Stafford being a little rusty after no preseason snaps at all, but that got cleared up pretty quick. The Rams showed me last week exactly why I was so high on them coming into this season: their defense is going to remain the elite of the elite, and with Stafford under center, their offense should be one of the best in the league as well. I am a fan of this Colts team as well, but after last week’s showing against the Seahawks, I have a hard time seeing how they keep pace with an even stronger Rams team. The Colts have enough talent that there is definite fantasy relevance, but the game script figures to have them throwing the ball quite often in this one. As odd as that sounds, that makes me like both Colts running backs as the duo combined for 15 targets last week in a similar game script.
Targets: Matthew Stafford, Darrell Henderson Jr., Cooper Kupp, Tyler Higbee, Jonathan Taylor, and Michael Pittman Jr.
Fades: None
Must-Owns: Nyheim Hines
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I specifically wrote about how the Indianapolis Colts wanted to beat the Seahawks in Week 1 using defense, and it almost happened. Granted, “almost” is a relative term, as the game was never close, but a few broken plays changed the dynamic. We shouldn’t forget that the Colts can slow down a team, and the Los Angeles Rams are next on their list. Of course, the Rams now boast one of the most dangerous offenses in the game. I don’t love the idea of either side in this matchup because of the strength versus strength setup, and the disappointing element — as far as fantasy lineups are concerned — is that it’s unlikely for Indianapolis to put together a big offensive day. There won’t be an edge there.
Targets: Nyheim Hines, and possibly both defenses
Fades: Most offensive players
Must-Owns: None
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: It was satisfying to correctly pick against the Bills in Buffalo last week, but I’m expecting a bounce-back game from them. This offense absolutely loved playing against Miami last year as they scored a combined 87 points in their two matchups. The Dolphins may have won against the Patriots, but I wasn’t overly impressed by them and had it not been for a few costly fumbles by the Patriots, that game may have had a very different outcome. I expect the Bills’ aerial attack to be on full display this week and put up yards and points from start to finish. I don’t love the Miami offense, but if they play the entire game from behind, members of their passing game could succeed based on sheer volume.
Targets: Josh Allen, Cole Beasley, DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki
Fades: Devin Singletary and Myles Gaskin
Must-Owns: Stefon Diggs
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: We’ve seen some wild ranges of outcome for the Buffalo Bills over their last ten or so games — obviously dating back to last year and including the playoffs. To close out last season, Buffalo simply outscored everyone. In the postseason, the Bills regressed. To start this year? A completely nonexistent offense. It’s difficult to pinpoint how the Bills respond when taking on a familiar opponent with a stout defense in the Miami Dolphins, but we have to look for some increase in offensive output. I just wouldn’t go overboard with it. The same is true for Miami against the Bills’ defense, which suffocated Pittsburgh for the majority of Week 1’s matchup. If anything, the risk-reward play would be using the Dolphins’ defense.
Targets: Both defenses, DeVante Parker, and Stefon Diggs
Fades: Everyone else on offense
Must-Owns: None
New England Patriots at New York Jets
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I like this game simply because both teams were more or less exactly what I was expecting them to be last week. The Patriots are going to look to lean on the ground game and strong defense and put Mac Jones in a position to make simple and efficient plays. The Jets were largely a mess on offense and showed some holes on defense that the Patriots will surely identify. Zach Wilson certainly looked better as the game went on, but his struggles overall were apparent, and Bill Belichick and his Patriots are not going to be a favorable matchup for the rookie. I don’t think the game is a blowout, because the Patriots simply aren’t built to run away with games, but I think they win fairly handily.
Targets: James White, Jakobi Meyers, Patriots defense, and Corey Davis
Fades: Mac Jones, Zach Wilson, and Jets Running Backs
Must-Owns: Damien Harris
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I know I’m not the only one, but I was thoroughly impressed by New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones — surprise, surprise, right? Jones entered the season as the team’s starter and will absolutely be gaining popularity in the coming weeks. For now, though, his salary is reasonable as he didn’t put up prolific numbers. That doesn’t mean that he and his offense won’t thrive against the New York Jets. It’s difficult to give a fair assessment to New York since it played two completely different games last week. The first was an impossibly bad effort against Carolina for nearly the entire first half. The second was an effective offensive gameplan against a Panthers team with enough of a lead that it became complacent. The latter won’t happen against New England, but there is a chance that the Jets’ offense found something that works and can surprise the Patriots on Sunday.
Targets: Both quarterbacks
Fades: Jets running backs
Must-Owns: Damien Harris
San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Maybe I am going to regret this, but I am going to continue riding with the 49ers this week. The simple fact is they showed their ability to dominate a lesser team last week, and the final score is not indicative of how that game played. The team stopped trying with a nearly 30 point lead and they suffered a horrible onside kick bounce off George Kittle’s face which helped the Lions creep back into the game. The Eagles, on the other hand, “dominated” the Falcons, but it sure did seem like the Falcons did everything they possibly could to lose that game. The 49ers are in a different stratosphere of talent and coaching than the Falcons, and I think they stick that to the Eagles this week.
Targets: Elijah Mitchell, Trey Sermon — assuming he is active this week — Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Jalen Hurts, and DeVonta Smith
Fades: Jimmy Garappolo and Miles Sanders
Must-Owns: None
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I’m not sure what we can take from the Week 1 victories by both the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles and carry into Week 2. The 49ers absolutely bludgeoned the Lions — as they should have — only to let Detroit almost completely a ridiculous comeback. The Eagles eventually pulled away from the Falcons, but largely because Atlanta couldn’t do anything right. It does seem like offense will be the key, however, but the point is that there isn’t a great gameflow setup. Instead, I’ll be buying into players based on talent or price.
Targets: Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Jalen Hurts, Miles Sanders, and DeVonta Smith
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: Trey Sermon — if he is playing
Las Vegas Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: This may just be the hardest game of the week for me to figure out. On one hand, you have the Raiders who are coming off a Monday night upset win against the Ravens, so they seem likely for a letdown following that. On the other hand, you have a Steelers team that just beat the Bills in Buffalo, so they seem somewhat likely for a letdown week as well. At the end of the day, I don’t see how either of these offenses gets a lot down this week. The Raiders’ offense should be overpowered by the Steelers’ defense, and the Steelers’ offensive line showed last week that they are going to be a major issue. I think the Steelers find a way to win, but the fantasy excitement around this game for me is quite low.
Targets: Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow, Najee Harris, and Steelers Defense
Fades: Derek Carr, Josh Jacobs, and the Steelers Passing Game
Must-Owns: None
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The Las Vegas Raiders played one of the most entertaining, wild games of Week 1, and they now will try to carry that into a road trip to Pittsburgh to face arguably the game’s best defense. We saw that the Raiders won’t be intimidated by anyone, and the offense has remained effective, even if it isn’t efficient. Still, it’s difficult to expect much out of Las Vegas, even if it isn’t stopped entirely. It would stand to reason that the flip side of the matchup would be more favorable. Not really. The Raiders’ defense was terrible in 2020, but it was fine in Week 1. Pittsburgh’s offense was limited for almost the entire day in its road victory, and it’s hard to dive in too aggressively with anyone from the Steelers.
Targets: Both defenses, Najee Harris, and Darren Waller
Fades: Both quarterbacks and Steelers wide receivers
Must-Owns: None, unless if I have the salary space and need for Darren Waller
New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: After one week of games, it is probably fair for me to say the Saints and Jameis Winston were probably my best pick of the week while Marquez Callaway was probably my worst pick of the week. The Saints were exactly what I expected from a team that has a very strong defense, an elite offensive line, and elite coaching. The biggest question moving forward is, “Will the Saints let Jameis throw the ball more than 20 times in a game and take more chances?” He will not be able to keep up that touchdown rate, so his volume is going to have to increase for him to remain relevant for DFS. The Panthers showed some promise last week but ultimately didn’t do enough against the lowly Jets to make me have a ton of faith against a much better team.
Targets: Jameis Winston, Marquez Callaway, Saints Defense, and Christian McCaffrey
Fades: Sam Darnold
Must-Owns: Alvin Kamara
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: In terms of storylines, it was satisfying to see Carolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold get revenge on his old team. In terms of looking forward, that might be the best we get from Darnold for the foreseeable future. The New Orleans Saints made quite a statement on Opening Day when they destroyed the Packers, but the real message was sent by the defense, not the Saints’ new starting quarterback. New Orleans shut down Aaron Rodgers, and Darnold now has quite the task in front of him. Still, he’s surrounded by playmakers, so there’s a nice, albeit risky, opportunity to use some offense from Carolina.
Targets: Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara, and one of them is probably a ‘must-play’
Fades: Everyone else
Must-Owns: Probably one of the aforementioned two running backs
Denver Broncos at Jacksonville Jaguars
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Trevor Lawrence’s debut certainly did not go how the Jaguars had hoped. Despite his big final statline, the game was out of hand early and considering they played a Texans team that everyone had marked as the worst team in the league, the concern is valid for this Jaguars team. With that said, Lawrence also showed plenty of ability to make plays and give us hope that he can be the guy to help turn this franchise around. I think we see a step back from the Broncos this week after they took advantage of the Giants’ complete inability to protect their quarterback. Neither of these offenses figures to make a big splash this week, so I will be largely staying away.
Targets: Melvin Gordon III, Javonte Williams, James Robinson, and DJ Chark Jr.
Fades: Teddy Bridgewater
Must-Owns: None
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I know the Denver Broncos’ defense was excellent in Week 1 — and we just watched the same team that Denver stopped put up 29 points on Thursday Night Football — but I’m still going to look for offense from the Jacksonville Jaguars. In fact, the matchup between these two teams is exactly where I want to go for the opportunity to be ‘contrarian.’ The Jaguars have been bad for years, and those losses have led to some nice counting numbers. We already saw that on full display with rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence throwing a whopping 51 pass attempts for 332 yards. The other side of the matchup is just as positive in terms of offense, so I don’t mind looking to Denver for help when finishing my lineup.
Targets: Both quarterbacks and both receiving corps
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: None
Minnesota Vikings at Arizona Cardinals
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The Vikings sure let us down last week, and it is easy to be down on them this week after seeing what the Cardinals did to the Titans in Tennessee last week. I’m not typically willing to give the Vikings much leeway, but they seem like a great buy-low candidate this week. The biggest factor is that I cannot see the Cardinals’ defense replicating the type of pressure and shutdown ability that they showed last week. I like the Vikings’ offense to bounce back this week and steal a win in Arizona. The Cardinals’ offense should be a fine play again this week after a huge game last week. Don’t be surprised if they run the ball a little more this week after seeing the Vikings struggle mightily to slow down Joe Mixon.
Targets: Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook, Kyler Murray, Chase Edmonds, and DeAndre Hopkins
Fades: Cardinals Defense
Must-Owns: Justin Jefferson
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I feel as if I am going to write the exact same blurb about the Minnesota Vikings on a weekly basis. That is, the team will remain completely average over the long haul but have extreme moments of success and failure. Week 1 started out as a failure and then, in terms of fantasy production, slight success. It wasn’t enough, and the matchup with the Arizona Cardinals now looks frightening after seeing what they did to the Titans on offense and defense. That’s the key, though. We know the Vikings have the talent to randomly do well, and Arizona completely caught Tennessee off-guard. I doubt that happens to the Vikings, too. Really, this matchup sets up for a nice offensive game from both teams.
Targets: Both quarterbacks, Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson, and Kyler Murray
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: None
Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: To sum up Week 1 for these two teams is as simple as saying that Tom Brady’s still got it, and the Falcons looked like a peewee football team. After seeing these teams play last week, of course, my first thought is to say that the Falcons give the Buccaneers a run for their money and almost pull off a major upset. If I have learned one thing, it is that Matt Ryan is always going to be a high variance quarterback who can look lost one game, and then throw for 400 yards and 5 touchdowns the next. Given the likelihood that the Buccaneers score at will against this weak Falcons defense, I’m counting on a huge game from Ryan and his talented group of pass-catchers. It is a tall task after watching the team look completely lost last week, but I’m giving them a shot at redemption this week.
Targets: Calvin Ridley, Russell Gage, Kyle Pitts, Tom Brady, Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Antonio Brown, and Rob Gronkowski
Fades: Both Defenses
Must-Owns: Matt Ryan
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: We had to tread lightly with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defense entering a new season, as it was one of the best in the league last year. Opening Night proved that it is possible to move the ball against Tampa Bay, and the Atlanta Falcons will have to learn how to do exactly that or risk being embarrassed for a second consecutive week. It’s definitely hard to trust Atlanta after the dud we saw in Week 1, but the offense still has weapons and did move the ball early against Philadelphia. It simply did nothing with those opportunities and eventually fell behind by too far for anything to matter. The good news for fantasy managers is that Tampa Bay’s offense should be involved in any type of game — whether Atlanta forces the issue or not.
Targets: Everyone on offense from both teams
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: Calvin Ridley
Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Chargers
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: This is the game that everyone and their mother is predicting to be high-scoring, and while I don’t typically like to side with the masses, it is hard to argue that thinking too much. Justin Herbert stepped onto the field last week and proved that his rookie season was far from a fluke. Herbert and the Chargers marched up and down the field against one of the very best defenses in the league, and while their 20 points don’t stand out, their production was much better than the final score shows. Taking aim at a much weaker defense that has now lost their best pass rusher, it is hard to imagine the Chargers’ offense being slowed down this week. My first thought at the conclusion of the Cowboys’ season opener was that there is no way they can be comfortable asking Dak Prescott to throw nearly 60 passes in a game coming off his injury last season and his shoulder injury this preseason. They have to get Ezekiel Elliott going this week in order to remove some of the burden from Prescott. It is possible that the game script forces a more pass-happy attack again, but I’m counting on a larger workload for Elliott this week.
Targets: Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, Cedrick Wilson, Justin Herbert, Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Jalen Guyton, and Jared Cook
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: Ezekiel Elliott
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I never like to lean on chalk or the obvious outcome, but it’s hard to argue against anything other than a back-and-forth, high-scoring battle between the Los Angeles Chargers and Dallas Cowboys. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert delivered against one of the league’s best defenses on the road in Washington, and he now gets to play in front of his home crowd — for the first time in their new stadium — and do so against a nonexistent secondary. The defensive woes for Dallas have been around since the start of last year, and it has forced the offense to shoulder the weight of the gameplan. That should happen again on Sunday, where we can target the usual playmakers, especially in the passing game.
Targets: All offensive players
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: Justin Herbert and possibly Keenan Allen
Tennessee Titans at Seattle Seahawks
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: It is probably fair to label the Titans as the biggest disappointment of Week 1, and their punishment is traveling to Seattle to take on the Seahawks in Week 2. Their high-powered offense was a complete dud, and their seemingly improved defense allowed the Cardinals to walk all over them. I do see the Titans’ defense improving as the year goes on, but watching Kyler Murray complete passes all over the field has me expecting much of the same from Russell Wilson this week. With an expectation of plenty of offense for the Seahawks, I have to believe the Titans put up a much better fight this week, so I have to believe their offense shows signs of life. This game is a perfect setup for a high-scoring, back-and-forth battle.
Targets: Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, A.J. Brown, Julio Jones, Chris Carson, Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, and Gerald Everett
Fades: None
Must-Owns: Russell Wilson
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Like the aforementioned game between the Cowboys and Chargers, it’s hard to argue the idea of a high-scoring game between the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks. The only possible conversation would involve how poorly the Titans played in Week 1. That’s exactly the reason why we should buy into Tennessee. The Titans have learned to lean on both running back Derrick Henry and quarterback Ryan Tannehill with great success over the past few seasons, and they will certainly go back to that formula to regain what was lost. On the other side of the ball, I can’t envision a scenario in which the Titan’s putrid defense — which was bad against the pass last year — limits quarterback Russell Wilson in any way. He should be able to throw at will.
Targets: Russell Wilson, DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Ryan Tannehill, and A.J. Brown
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: Derrick Henry
Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens – Read Dan DeAngelis’ SNF Betting Guide Here
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: In case we needed a reminder that the trio of Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis are beyond dominant, we got it last week. After falling behind early to the Browns, the Chiefs’ big three took over the game and led the team to a come-from-behind win. There will certainly be weeks where Chiefs players besides those three step up, but they will be very hard to predict or count on any given week. The Ravens put up a good fight last week considering the slew of major injuries they have already been dealt, but ultimately they let a win slip away from them in Las Vegas. I am torn on expecting them to bounce back this week and pull off the upset and realizing that the Chiefs have simply dominated the Ravens in the Mahomes/Jackson era. Luckily, for the sake of my DFS picks I don’t have to stress too much about the end result with these teams because either way, their offenses lead me to want the same players.
Targets: Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Ty’Son Williams, and Mark Andrews
Fades: Clyde Edwards-Helaire
Must-Owns: Lamar Jackson
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The Baltimore Ravens’ offense is one of my favorite picks of the weekend, even if the Kansas City Chiefs match everything they do. For that reason, both teams must be on my radar. Normally, I like to try to find the ‘contrarian’ view — especially on a Primetime slate — but I can’t justify it here. Sure, if we want to throw a dart and target Monday’s game as the higher-scoring of the two night contests, we can try, but there is nothing to suggest such an outcome. Instead, Lamar Jackson is my quarterback and I want to load up on players from this game.
Targets: Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Ty’Son Williams, and Mark Andrews
Fades: Clyde Edwards-Helaire
Must-Owns: Lamar Jackson and Travis Kelce
Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I was conflicted on which storyline to buy with the Packers: the Aaron Rodgers chip on the shoulder, or the Aaron Rodgers drama and rust. I bought the wrong story last week, but I refuse to think that this offense is suddenly the worst in the league. They have arguably the most ideal scenario there is to bounce back this week as they get an extra day of rest, a return to their home field, and a matchup against one of the worst defenses in football. I have to think the Packers’ offense flips the script this week and puts up big yardage and point totals. The Lions showed plenty of fight last week on offense after falling way behind, and while they clearly have some talent, I am not expecting quite the same level of a comeback this week.
Targets: D’Andre Swift, Jamaal Williams — if he plays — T.J. Hockenson, Aaron Jones, and Robert Tonyan
Fades: Lions Wide Receivers
Must-Owns: Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Obviously, the storyline of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ offseason drama won’t go away, and it was fueled by an absolutely pitiful performance in Week 1. It’s impossible to think that it happens again — even if it does. The ‘contrarian’ play? Think that it happens again. If so, then Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is a great pick in a two-game slate that includes Rogers, Patrick Mahomes, and Lamar Jackson. Otherwise, we have to look for the Packers to score at will and essentially never stop.
Targets: Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, Packers defense, Jared Goff, Jamaal Williams — if he plays — and T.J.Hockenson
Fades: Lions wide receivers
Must-Owns: Davante Adams
