We’ve written about large slates in the past, but this week easily has the biggest set of games all season. This isn’t new or unique to Week 17 but, in past years, we had to balance how teams will handle the final week of the year. That isn’t the case yet — it will come into play next week — so we are proceeding as usual, just with a huge number of games and players to consider.
Sporfolio’s NFL Daily Fantasy Sports game-by-game analysis columns are driven by expected game flow. Based on a combination of our Week 17 NFL picks against the spread and our expectations for a given game, we project the actions necessary to make these picks come to fruition. We aim to pinpoint players integral to our predicted game flow for each game of the week. We also include high-scoring and low-scoring matchups that can be used for either DFS plays or over-under picks in our new Top Games to Target column.
Please Note: Our ‘Must-Owns’ are either players around which we are building our entire roster or the top target we want, not considering salary restraints. Which means that some ‘must-owns’ will not make it into our final lineups.

Atlanta Falcons at Buffalo Bills
Luke’s DFS Take
Atlanta Falcons at Buffalo Bills
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: One thing we have learned over the last number of years is that the Falcons are one of a few teams in the league that can never be trusted to perform how you expect them. The obvious expectation for them this week is to get steamrolled by a much better Bills team. The Bills rank 6th or better in total yards on offense and defense as well points for and points against. They have had some bad games this year, but those stats paint a pretty clear picture when you compare them to a Falcons team that ranks 24th or worse in all of those same categories. The Bills control their playoff fate, and I can’t see them losing to the Falcons, even if Atlanta does surprise us and put together a decent game.
Targets: Cordarrelle Patterson, Kyle Pitts, Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs and Dawson Knox
Fades: Matt Ryan
Must-Owns: None
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The first and most obvious storyline for the game between the Buffalo Bills and Atlanta Falcons is that Buffalo has now moved back into first place in the AFC East and can control its own destiny en route to a division title. All it needs to do is beat the Falcons and Jets in consecutive weeks. Easy enough. That would start with another easy domination against a weaker opponent as we have come to see from the Bills. Not so fast. Indeed, the Falcons are not nearly at the level of the Bills — they’re not even close — but they also aren’t a pushover. That, and I am lowering the ceiling of Buffalo a bit following a 33-point outburst against one of the league’s best defenses in New England last week. There is likely to be some regression. I definitely won’t avoid the Bills completely — the potential for a big day is always present — but I am using their players carefully. For the Falcons, the offense continues to run through running back Cordarrelle Patterson and tight end Kyle Pitts, and I see no reason to move from that gameplan.
Targets: Cordarrelle Patterson, Kyle Pitts, Josh Allen, David Montgomery, Stefon Diggs, and Cole Beasley
Fades: None
Must-Owns: None
New York Giants at Chicago Bears
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: There may not be a worse possible matchup in Week 17 than this one. The Giants sit at 30th in the league in total yards and points scored while averaging 11.5 points over their last 6 games. The Bears numbers aren’t much more impressive as they sit at 26th in the league in total yards and 28th in points for. The Bears have reached 30 points just one time all season while the Giants have not reached that mark all year. I can’t in good conscience recommend much fantasy interest in a game where the upside of both teams are supremely capped.
Targets: David Montgomery, Allen Robinson II and Bears Defense
Fades: Giants Offense
Must-Owns: None
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I hate to lead a writeup with uncertainty, but there is simply no confidence in the quarterback situations for either team. Usually, that would force me to pay closer attention as I would like to jump on the opportunity to buy into an overlooked player, but there is no way to trust that any starting quarterback for the New York Giants or Chicago Bears actually finishes the game. That doesn’t entirely knock out pass-catchers, but the main play for me remains running back David Montgomery.
Targets: David Montgomery, Darnell Mooney, Kenny Golladay, and both defenses
Fades: Everyone else
Must-Owns: None
Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The Kansas City Chiefs were in a potentially dangerous position last week, and they continued to play dominant football anyway. Not only has their offense averaged almost 40 points per game over their past 3 games, their defense has allowed 14 or fewer points in 6 of their last 7 games. They are simply dominating, and while the Bengals have been impressive lately, they don’t compare to this version of the Chiefs. The Bengals defense has been good this year for the most part, but they are allowing the 4th most passing yards per game which the Chiefs should be able to take advantage of.
Targets: Darrell Williams — if Clyde Edwards-Helaire is out — Tyreek Hill, Byron Pringle, Travis Kelce, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins
Fades: None
Must-Owns: Patrick Mahomes
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I am thoroughly excited for the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals, even though there is the potential for disappointment. Both defenses have had their moments to shine throughout the year — Cincinnati’s was earlier, and Kansas City’s was over the last month or so — which means we could have a lower output overall. Then again, both offenses have rounded into form throughout the season and are essentially entering Sunday’s head-to-head matchup with momentum and a full arsenal. I am leaning on the latter, even if I don’t fully stack either team in the same lineup
Targets: Both offenses
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: None
Miami Dolphins at Tennessee Titans
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The Dolphins are riding a 7 game win streak that has put them into a playoff position with two games left in the season. While that is impressive the context of their win streak is crucial as those wins have come against the Texans, the Ravens, the Jets — twice — the Panthers, the Giants and a Saints team being led by Ian Book. The Titans haven’t been great lately, but they are far better competition than most of what Miami has faced recently. I am expecting the Titans to claim an early lead and control this game throughout. That game flow will set up the Dolphins to throw even more than they normally do.
Targets: Jaylen Waddle, Ryan Tannehill, D’Onta Foreman and Chester Rodgers
Fades: Tua Tagovailoa
Must-Owns: A.J. Brown
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The game between the Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans has tremendous playoff impact, and I want to make sure I don’t overlook the fantasy value. We should get the best that each team has to offer. The problem is in figuring out how to best utilize that for our needs. If the Dolphins are thriving, it’s usually because the defense has created turnovers — so Miami’s defense is in play. For Tennessee, it’s a less focused approach now that running back Derrick Henry is injured. That doesn’t bode well for how we can attack the game from a fantasy perspective, but wide receiver A.J. Brown and the Titans’ defense — which has held three consecutive opponents to fewer than 20 points — are on my radar.
Targets: Jaylen Waddle, A.J. Brown, both defenses
Fades: Mostly everyone else
Must-Owns: None
Las Vegas Raiders at Indianapolis Colts
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The Colts may or may not have their starting quarterback for this game, but it is not going to impact my view on this game either way. The Colts have won 6 of their last 7 games, and it has been on the back of Jonathan Taylor. He is playing like far and away the best running back in the league right now, and against a Raiders defense that is allowing the third most fantasy points per game to running backs, I have full faith in Taylor carrying the team once again. The Raiders offense has scored 17 or fewer points in all but one of their games since Week 9. These two teams had polar opposite starts to the season, but the Colts are simply the much better team right now, and I am rolling with them again this week.
Targets: Hunter Renfrow and Michael Pittman Jr.
Fades: Derek Carr
Must-Owns: Jonathan Taylor
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Obviously, the lead storyline for the Indianapolis Colts is the possible absence of quarterback Carson Wentz but, if we are being fair to the Colts and the offense that they run, does it really matter for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders? I have supported Wentz, and I won’t argue that the team can last for a long stretch of time without him, but we are looking at a single game in which Indianapolis is likely going to lean on running back Jonathan Taylor anyway. It does so when Wentz is on the field, so why not do it without him? The Raiders have been in-play for me for most of the season, but we continue to see the offense’s potential capped. I definitely won’t go overboard with them.
Targets: Michael Pittman, Jr., Derek Carr, and Hunter Renfrow
Fades: None
Must-Owns: Jonathan Taylor
Jacksonville Jaguars at New England Patriots
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: There isn’t much to say about this game when you consider the disparity in these two teams. The Patriots have lost back-to-back games, but they are still playing well, and they are simply better at every position on the field and have a much better coaching staff as well. This should be a very easy win for the Patriots whose defense should all but completely shut down the Jaguars inept offense which is now without James Robinson who is undeniably their best player.
Targets: Dare Ogunbowale, Damien Harris and Rahmondre Stevenson
Fades: Jaguars passing game
Must-Owns: Patriots Defense
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: There’s no overthinking how to handle one side of the ball in this matchup. If you want to take a chance and look for the Jacksonville Jaguars to do something on offense, then it’s certainly going to be ‘contrarian.’ It’s also unlikely. The New England Patriots’ defense is one of the best in the sport and should have no problem shutting down Jacksonville. The Patriots’ offense is in a different situation, however. Of course, New England is easily capable of surging on Sunday, but it may not have to do anything more than control the game and clock. That puts the running backs atop my list of targets.
Targets: Damien Harris and New England’s defense
Fades: Jacksonville and most of New England’s offense
Must-Owns: None, but Rhamondre Stevenson slices into this category if Harris were to be inactive
Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Things were beyond ugly for the Saints last week, but there are not many teams that can roll out their number four quarterback and put together a great game, so I am going to give them a pass for that one. The Panthers on the other hand have not won a game since Week 10, and their offense has struggled so much that they are hardly naming a starting quarterback and will likely utilize both Sam Darnold and Cam Newton at times. The Saints defense has been very good over their last three games, and for much of the season, so I have complete faith in them shutting down a Panthers offense that has only scored more than 21 points one time since Week 7.
Targets: DJ Moore, Taysom Hill, Alvin Kamara and Saints Defense
Fades: Sam Darnold
Must-Owns: None
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The current plan for the Carolina Panthers is that Sam Darnold will start at quarterback, but we have seen how quickly head coach Matt Rhule is willing to make a change. I am actually slightly intrigued by offense from both the Panthers and New Orleans Saints mainly because the two teams scored a combined six points last week — with exactly one field goal for each. I definitely don’t expect fireworks, but there is some sneaky ‘sleeper’ potential.
Targets: Taysom Hill, Alvin Kamara, and DJ Moore
Fades: None, I just wouldn’t have too much exposure to this game
Must-Owns: None
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Jets
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Tom Brady returning to MetLife stadium to take a Jets team he has dominated for his entire career is a great storyline that I cannot ignore. Brady showed last week that he can abuse lesser teams even while missing a few of his top playmakers, and that is exactly what I am expecting from him again this week. The Jets are coming off a victory over the Jaguars last week, but they still have borderline nothing going for them. The Jets will not be able to run on this Buccaneers defense which is going to put a huge amount of pressure on Zach Wilson, and that isn’t likely to bode well for the Jets. I fully expect Brady and the Buccaneers to beat up on the Jets defense which has allowed more yards and points than any other team in the league.
Targets: Ronald Jones II, Mike Evans — if active — Breshad Perriman, Rob Gronkowski and Buccaneers Defense
Fades: The Jets
Must-Owns: Tom Brady and Antonio Brown
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I try not to be overdramatic when I write, but there is a real possibility that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady puts up one of the best fantasy performances of the year against the New York Jets. Besides the obvious struggles that New York has had on defense — and Tampa Bay thriving all season on offense — Brady has extensive experience against the Jets during his time with the Patriots. That does, of course, present the possibility that New York’s familiarity slows him down, but I’m not expecting anything great from the Jets — on either side of the ball — in this matchup.
Targets: The Buccaneers
Fades: The Jets
Must-Owns: Tom Brady
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Football Team
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Just three weeks ago, Washington was looking like they had a real chance of making the playoffs while the Eagles were well on the outside looking in. Over the last 3 weeks, the Eagles have won each of their games while Washington is winless. No matter what happens in this game, I don’t see there being a great path to it creating fantasy glory. Outside of the quarterbacks, there is not a single player in this game that is averaging 15 fantasy points per game, and only Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson average more than 12 fantasy points per game. Overall, these are two offenses that lack high-end talent, and even if the game produces points, it is unlikely that any one player will produce a huge game.
Targets: Jalen Hurts and Kenneth Gainwell
Fades: Taylor Heinicke
Must-Owns: None
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The Washington Football Team has now fallen out of the playoff picture, and the downturn was largely accelerated by a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles a few weeks ago. That, coupled with the disaster that was Washington’s last outing — a 56-14 bludgeoning by the Cowboys — should lead to a better performance on Sunday. I’m continuing to buy into Terry McLaurin, even though the teams’ overall offensive numbers leave plenty to be desired. Jared Patterson is absolutely worth consideration with Antonio Gibson expected to miss the game. The Eagles’ fantasy value continues to lie in the legs of quarterback Jalen Hurts and the hands of wide receiver DeVonta Smith — although Hurts’ passing numbers have improved of late. Both are worth a look for Sunday.
Targets: Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, and Terry McLaurin
Fades: Both defenes
Must-Owns: Jaret Patterson
Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Last week, I wrote about the Broncos losing despite how little faith I had in the Raiders anymore. A lot of that had to do with Drew Lock taking over for the injured Teddy Bridgewater, and the Broncos offense struggled as expected. This week, they take on another division rival that is closing in on locking up a playoff spot, and I don’t see things getting much better for Denver in a tougher matchup. The Chargers should be able to shut down Denver throughout this game, and I feel better about that prediction based on the fact that both Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon III are banged up at the moment, and Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick out for the contest. Although I think the Chargers win this game somewhat comfortably, I can’t count on their offense too much against the number one scoring defense in the NFL.
Targets: Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen, Chargers Defense and Courtland Sutton
Fades: Drew Lock
Must-Owns: None
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I’ll start off with one of the most straightforward reads I could have: with Drew Lock starting under center for the Denver Broncos, I want no piece of their pass-catchers and will probably also avoid their running backs — although I may consider one. Either way, I am actually looking for the Broncos’ defense to put up a fight against a Los Angeles Chargers team that continues to be inconsistent. In fact, the Chargers’ second-lowest scoring output of the season was roughly one month ago against the Broncos.
Targets: Melvin Gordon III, Javonte Williams, and both defenses
Fades: Austin Ekeler
Must-Owns: None
Houston Texans at San Francisco 49ers
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The Houston Texans put together a massive upset victory over the Chargers last week, and while I am not ready to crown Davis Mills their franchise quarterback, he deserves some credit for how he has been playing lately. With that said, I don’t see another victory upcoming for the Texans this week as this game is essentially a must-win for San Francisco. The 49ers are looking to lock up a playoff spot, and with a Week 18 matchup with the Rams upcoming, they cannot afford to let this game slip away. Despite back-to-back victories for the Texans, they are the same team that rolls out the 29th ranked scoring defense and the 30th ranked scoring offense. The 49ers need this game, and I fully expect them to take care of business and put together an easy victory.
Targets: Brandin Cooks, Trey Lance, Jeff Wilson Jr. — if Eli Mitchell is out again — Deebo Samuel and George Kittle
Fades: None
Must-Owns: None
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: There are already conflicting reports about which quarterback will start for the San Francisco 49ers and, unlike earlier in this article where I wrote that I don’t particularly care about the quarterback for the Giants or Bears, I do want to target someone from San Francisco. The new storyline for the Houston Texans is that they have found a viable option under center with Davis Mills and, as much as I disagree with this conclusion, there’s a chance that the team puts up a fight against San Francisco. If that happens, we could be looking at a higher-scoring game with nice fantasy potential. Otherwise, the 49ers will relentlessly run the ball like they so consistently want to do.
Targets: Eli Mitchell — if healthy — Jeff Wilson, Jr. — if Mitchell is out — Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Brandin Cooks, and Nico Collins
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: None
Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: After an amazing start to the season, things seem to be slipping away from the Cardinals as they are losers of three straight games. The Cowboys on the other hand have won four consecutive games and have people believing they are real Super Bowl contenders. While I’m not saying they are frauds, it is important to note that their current winning streak is made up of victories over the Saints, Giants and two wins over the Washington Football Team. That is hardly elite competition, and I think we may see them caught a bit off guard against a team that is as capable as the Cardinals are. I am fully buying into Kyler Murray and the Cardinals going into Dallas and stealing a win over the Cowboys to end both teams’ current streaks.
Targets: Chase Edmonds, Christian Kirk, A.J. Green, Zach Ertz, Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Dalton Schultz
Fades: Cowboys Defense
Must-Owns: Kyler Murray
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: I’m using as many players from the Arizona Cardinals as possible. Period. This is not a knock on the Dallas Cowboys — their defense has obviously improved drastically from last season — but the Cardinals are on the verge of undoing their positive momentum from the start of the season, and they will be playing a highly-targeted game after putting forth a terrible effort on national television one week ago. I am definitely not avoiding the Cowboys’ offense, though, as it leads the league in yards and points. It will, however, absolutely regress from last week’s explosion, so I am lowering the ceiling just a bit.
Targets: Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and everyone from Arizona
Fades: Ezekiel Elliott
Must-Owns: None, but I will probably have someone from Arizona in almost every single lineup I make
Detroit Lions at Seattle Seahawks
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: Things have reached rock bottom in Seattle and it is something we haven’t seen for as long as Russell Wilson has been there. Things are so rough in Seattle that there are serious talks about whether or not Wilson will still be there next year. While that doesn’t necessarily matter for right now, that type of media coverage and narrative makes it that much harder to go out and play what is already a meaningless football game. A team that came into the year with their expectations is not a team I want to be targeting this late in the season with nothing to play for. I’m not sure if I see Detroit winning the game necessarily, but I don’t see the Seahawks offense providing enough to pay off their salaries.
Targets: D’Andre Swift, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Rashaad Penny
Fades: Jared Goff and Russell Wilson
Must-Owns: None
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: We continue to recognize that the Seattle Seahawks aren’t even putting up a fight in 2021, but I still find value in the team’s offense under the right circumstance. Technically, the matchup with the Detroit Lions may not be “the right circumstance,” but the otherwise unwatchable game buried within a full slate of action is enough where I want to pay attention. That, and the fact that Detroit’s offense actually has a great matchup against a Seahawks defense that is allowing the second-most yards-per-game. There’s sneaky offensive potential in this matchup.
Targets: Russell Wilson, Rashaad Penny, Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, D’Andre Swift, and Amon-Ra St. Brown
Fades: Both defenses
Must-Owns: None
Los Angeles Rams at Baltimore Ravens
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: These teams have been traveling in different directions over the last month, but I expect this to change this week. The Ravens are on the verge of losing all hope of the playoffs, and considering how they started this season, that would be a disaster. The Rams are playing good football, and they should be able to take advantage of a Ravens defense that has allowed more passing yards than any team in the league, but I still see the Ravens coming out on top. Tyler Huntley has played well, so whether it is him or Lamar Jackson under center, I love the Ravens offense to steal a critical Week 17 victory.
Targets: Matthew Stafford, Sony Michel, Ravens Quarterback, Marquise Brown, Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews
Fades: Rams Defense
Must-Owns: Cooper Kupp
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: New week, same story. The focal point for the Baltimore Ravens is the health of quarterback Lamar Jackson, and everything is an extension from there. The problem is that we simply can’t expect Jackson to be at full strength if he plays, and that limits how he can use his best asset: his rushing ability. It’s obvious that tight end Mark Andrews can produce with anyone under center, but that’s probably the extent of my exposure to the Ravens’ offense if Jackson can’t play. Once again, in a repeat of prior weeks, I will look for Baltimore’s defense to step up and limit an opponent — even though it didn’t happen against the Bengals last week — which means that, while I will consider someone from the Los Angeles Rams, I won’t go overboard.
Targets: Sony Michel, Cooper Kupp, Mark Andrews, and Baltimore’s defense
Fades: Matthew Stafford
Must-Owns: None
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers – Read Dan DeAngelis’ SNF Betting Guide Here
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: It was always going to be hard for me to expect the Vikings to win this game, but with them turning to Sean Mannion in Kirk Cousins’ absence, I have very low expectations for them. The Packers defense has been good all season, but they do struggle against the run, so expect the Vikings to lean even more heavily on Dalvin Cook than normal. Overall, with Mannion under center, I am expecting a pretty easy victory for the Packers which sets up their entire offense to take advantage of a Vikings defense that ranks 29th in the league in total yards allowed and 23rd in points against.
Targets: Dalvin Cook, Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, A.J. Dillon and Davante Adams
Fades: Sean Mannion
Must-Owns: Packers Defense
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: The Minnesota Vikings won’t be anywhere near full strength — wide receiver Adam Thielen is going to miss the remainder of the season and quarterback Kirk Cousins is now out with COVID-19 — but they will have running back Dalvin Cook available once again. There’s no way to avoid Cook if playing in a Showdown or two-game Primetime slate, and the same is now true of wide receiver Justin Jefferson without Thielen. Overall, I still respect the Green Bay Packers’ defense enough to tread lightly with Minnesota’s offense, but using offensive players from Minnesota is ‘contrarian’ and has some upside. As always, the usual suspects from the Green Bay Packers are in-play.
Targets: Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, A.J. Dillon, Davante Adams, Green Bay’s defense, Sean Mannion, and Justin Jefferson
Fades: Vikings defense
Must-Owns: Dalvin Cook
Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers
Luke’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: If you are a regular here, you know we love a good storyline play, and boy do we have one for this game. Ben Roethlisberger made it clear this week that he is leaning towards retirement after this season which means this is almost certainly his final game at Heinz Field as the Steelers will not have a home playoff game if they secure a spot at all. Things have been rocky at best over the past couple seasons with his declining play, but Roethlisberger has had an unbelievable career in Pittsburgh, and with the team, the crowd and himself knowing this is likely his last time playing at home, this game means extra. Their offense has not been great, and the Browns defense is not a good matchup at all, but I am totally buying into the nappy factor of this game and going all in on the Steelers and Reothlisberger getting a win and keeping their playoff hopes alive.
Targets: Nick Chubb, Jarvis Landry, Najee Harris, Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool and Pat Freiermuth
Fades: Browns Defense
Must-Owns: Ben Roethlisberger
Mario’s DFS Take
Storyline/Notes/Thoughts: There are two key storylines for Monday Night Football. The first is the playoff implications for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. This game will seal one team’s fate and possibly keep another’s alive for one more week. That places the spotlight on the star players to deliver. The second storyline is that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger might be playing the final home game of his career. I expect his volume to be high which, of course, boosts the potential for his wide receivers. Thankfully for fantasy purposes, Roethlisberger has a habit of locking in on a pass-catcher and delivering extreme volume. If playing in a Primetime slate, the defense will probably come from this matchup, but I wouldn’t ignore the possibility that both offenses play their best games.
Targets: Ben Roethlisberger, Najee Harris, Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, Pat Freiermuth, Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Jarvis Landry and, if playing a two-game Primetime slate, both defenses
Fades: None
Must-Owns: None
