With Thursday Night Football already behind us – and an entertaining one, at that – and an early Sunday morning game in London, we have 14 games ahead of us for a busy Sunday – and Monday Night. As usual, with such a large slate, it is relatively easy to find matchups that set up perfectly for an expected game flow in one-direction-or-another. It is no surprise, therefore, that we have another in depth column that is almost as long as last week’s epic – which tallied nearly 8,000 words.
Sporfolio’s NFL Daily Fantasy Sports game-by-game analysis columns are driven by expected game flow. Based on a combination of our Week 3 NFL picks against the spread and our expectations for a given game, we project the actions necessary to make these picks come to fruition. We aim to pinpoint players integral to our predicted game flow for each game of the week.

Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills
Luke’s DFS Take: The Broncos and Bills experienced wildly different results in Week 2, but that may be be a great predictor for this matchup. Denver exploded for 42 points against the Cowboys, but this has to, on some level, be a result of the matchup. The Dallas defense is filled with inexperienced players, and the Broncos were able to take advantage. This week’s test appears to be much tougher, as the Bills’ defense just held the Panthers’ offense to 9 points on three field goals. While the Panthers’ offense has been slow to get started, it is a dynamic group that features more skill and depth than this Denver unit. This seems like a perfect week for the offense to regress, and I will happily avoid them this week. The Bills offense struggled immensely last week as they managed a measly 3 points. In fairness, they were up against a tough defense, but this week does not look much better. The Denver defense has looked very solid so far this season, and there is no real reason to expect significant production from this Bills offense devoid of elite talent outside of LeSean McCoy. Both defenses are in play for me this week.
Mario’s DFS Take: The Denver Broncos were arguably the biggest standout performance from Week 2, and it was largely thanks to the team’s offense. Certainly, Denver’s defense rose to the occasion – as it usually does – but it was the relentless attack both through the air and on the ground that buried the Cowboys early. Unfortunately for fantasy owners looking to buy into the Broncos, there are two unavoidable issues. Quarterback Trevor Siemian simply played out-of-his mind, making a repeat performance against any team – let alone a good Bills defense – unlikely and the inconsistency in carries for C.J. Anderson. The explosive running back does shoulder the workload on most days, but he has conceded 19 rushing attempts to Jamaal Charles. Anderson would be the play if
