Welcome to another edition of Daily Fantasy Hockey Top Stacks. Today I’ll focus on the top line stacks I’ll be rolling out in both cash games and tournaments. After a Monday where we only had one game and tournaments on FanDuel we’re back with a seven-game slate to work with for our daily fantasy purposes. There are two teams that stand out to me as teams we should target across all formats tonight: Washington and Winnipeg.

Before we look at the reasons why I want shares of those teams here are the lines for all the of the games on tonight’s slate:

Vancouver Canucks @ Washington Capitals (Washington, -225, 5.5 over/under)
Winnipeg Jets @ Buffalo Sabres (Winnipeg, -165, 5.5 over/under)
Chicago Blackhakws @ Ottawa Senators (even, -110, 5.5 over/under)
Carolina Hurricanes @ Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa Bay, -200, 5.5 over/under)
Edmonton Oilers @ Nashville Predators (Nashville, -165, 5.5 over/under)
Florida Panthers @ St. Louis Blues (St. Louis, -160, 5.5 over/under)
Calgary Flames @ Minnesota Wild (Minnesota, -140, 5.5 over/under)

I am going to start much of my roster construction around the Winnipeg Jets tonight. Last month Winnipeg was fourth in the NHL with an average of 3.47 goals for per game and led the NHL with 15 power play goals. We’ve mentioned this numerous times recently, the injury to Mark Scheifele while an overall downgrade to the Winnipeg offense, gives us an interesting first line stack of KYLE CONNOR/BLAKE WHEELER/PATRIK LAINE. We get this trio as our top Jets line and they all skate together on Winnipeg’s first power play unit.

While this line’s CF% of 46.72 percent (in a sample size of just over 53 minutes) leaves much to be desired tonight they get a Buffalo team with a CF% over their past 10 games of just 48.62 percent. Additionally, Buffalo has allowed 17 goals over a current four-game losing streak (including a 4-3 loss to Winnipeg) and have allowed six power play goals over their past five games. Last month Buffalo allowed a league seventh-worst 3.15 goals against per game.

Buffalo’s first line of EICHEL/KANE/REINHART only boasts a CF% of 47.42 percent (in a sample size of almost 98 minutes).

In tournaments I want to be sure to have exposure to
