Welcome to final edition of the daily fantasy hockey morning coffee of 2016. We end the year with a small four game slate:

Chicago Blackhawks @ Carolina Hurricanes (Carolina, -115 5 over/under)
Nashville Predators @ St. Louis Blues (St. Louis, -160 5 over/under)
Philadelphia Flyers @ San Jose Sharks (San Jose -165, 5 over/under)
Anaheim Ducks @ Vancouver Canucks (Anaheim -115, 5 over/under)

The team I am most interested in tonight is the St. Louis Blues. In the month of December St. Louis has averaged 3.23 goals for per game (fourth-best in the NHL) and have a power play that has clicked at 24.2 percent this month. At home St. Louis has averaged 3.05 goals for per game and tonight they get a Nashville team that has allowed 3.25 goals against per game this month and have only killed off their PK chances at a rate of 74.3 percent in December. I’ll certainly want shares of the St. Louis power play tonight.

Robby Fabbri $5.3K (11G, 12A, 7 PPP, 62 SOG)
Jori Lehtera $4.1K (4G, 6A, 1 PPP, 33 SOG)
Vladimir Tarasenko $8.8K (16G, 23A, 15 PPP, 126 SOG)
Alex Steen $6.1K (3G, 15A, 8 PPP, 44 SOG)
(D) Kevin Shattenkirk $6.4K (8G, 16A, 14 PPP, 71 SOG)

are my top GPP options on the St. Louis side. Nashville is also on the second night of a back-to-back which gives St. Louis skaters a bump tonight. While Nashville has only scored 2.50 goals per game this month they have averaged an NHL fourth-best 34.3 shots per game. This puts Jake Allen squarely on my radar as a great GPP play tonight.

While the usual suspects are in play for Chicago: Kane/Panarin/Anisimov — and they are the safer play against Carolina tonight — I do like
