Welcome to the Thursday edition of the daily fantasy hockey morning coffee. Tonight we have a big 12-game slate to go through with three teams I’ll look to stack in both my GPPs and cash games.

Colorado Avalance @ Dallas Stars (Dallas -200, 5,5 over/under)
Columbus Blue Jackets @ Winnipeg Jets (Columbus -124, 5.5 over/under)
New York Rangers @ Arizona Coyotes (New York -175, 5.5 over/under)

The first team I’ll look to target is the Dallas Stars. Tonight the Stars get an Avalanche team that has allowed an NHL-worst 3.77 goals against per game in the month of December. On the season Colorado has allowed an NHL-worst 3.26 goals against per game. Colorado has allowed a league ninth-worst nine power play goals this month and have been shorthanded 44 times (sixth-most this month). Dallas should see ample time on the power play and that’s where I will start when constructing lineups tonight.

Jamie Benn $8.2K (10G, 20A, 11 PPP, 81 SOG)
Tyler Seguin $8.4K (11G, 23A, 14 PPP, 125 SOG)
Patrick Eaves $5.2K (12G, 8A, 9 PPP, 83 SOG)
Jason Spezza $6.4K (7G, 13A, 10 PPP, 65 SOG)
(D) John Klingberg $5.6K (3G, 15A, 7 PPP, 47 SOG)

are my top targets on the Dallas end. Dallas has not set the world on fire with just 31 total goals this month, but getting a Colorado team that has allowed an NHL-worst 49 goals should help cure their goal scoring woes.

As a GPP option I don’t mind digging into
