Welcome to the Wednesday edition of the daily fantasy hockey morning coffee. We have a tidy four-game slate to work with tonight with one clear cut game to attack.
The game we’re going to attack, and attack heavily, is the Philadelphia Flyers at the Colorado Avalanche. This will certainly be a popular play, but everything lines up for the Flyers to have a huge night and I don’t want to be on the outside looking in if Flyers put up a crooked number.
Philadelphia is fourth in the NHL with 3.16 goals per game, fourth-best in road goals per game with 2.92 and second in the league with a power play percentage of 24.1 percent. Colorado, on the other hand, is third-worst in the NHL with 3.15 goals against per game, seventh-worst with 22 power play goals allowed and have been shorthanded an NHL third-worst 106 times this season.
You can see where this going —
