Welcome to the Friday edition of the daily fantasy hockey morning coffee. I hope you have had a profitable week. Today there is only one complete game that I really like, but there are certainly teams in great spots to have potential big DFS nights.
- Chicago Blackhawks
- Pittsburgh Penguins
- New York Rangers/Columbus Blue Jackets
- Washington Capitals
First off, we have the Chicago Blackhawks at the Calgary Flames. Chicago will most likely be the chalk tonight, and for good reason. Calgary has allowed a league fifth-worst 3.28 goals per game, an NHL second-worst 59 total goals against, a league-worst 17 power play goals against, are worst in the league with 68 times short handed, and a league fourth-worst CA60 of 57.21.
On the other end, we have a Chicago team with a league sixth-best 3.12 goals per game, are fourth in the NHL with 53 total goals and an NHL eighth-best 12 power play goals. We’ll go all in on Chicago tonight:
Artemi Panarin $7K (6G, 10A, 4 PPP, 44 SOG)
Artem Anisimov $5.6K (8G, 9A, 4 PPP, 26 SOG)
Patrick Kane $8.4K (6G, 12A, 4 PPP, 57 SOG)
(D) Duncan Keith $5.7K (12A, 2 PPP, 41 SOG)
(D) Brent Seabrook $5.3K (1G, 9A, 3 PPP, 29 SOG)
round out Chicago’s top PP unit.
