Welcome to the Thursday edition of the Daily Fantasy Hockey Morning Coffee. Tonight, we have a nine-game slate to pick apart for our DFS needs.
The three games I am most interested in from a DFS perspective are:
New York Islanders @ Pittsburgh Penguins
Tampa Bay Lightning @ Montreal Canadiens
Arizona Coyotes @ Philadelphia Flyers
The New York Islanders are on the road on the second night of a back-to-back … and they have Sidney Crosby to deal with tonight. Crosby has only played one game this season but already has made an impact with one powerplay goal on four shots in his first game back.
The Penguins rank as one of the worst offensive teams in the league with just 2.14 goals per game. Of course, that will turn around with the presence of Crosby — and Letang (keep your eye on his status heading into this one)
The Islanders have allowed 20 goals over seven games.
